Andrew Self

Andrew is Ofgem’s Deputy Director for Electricity Access and Charging. He is responsible for Ofgem’s reforms to electricity network charging and access arrangements which aim to ensure GB’s electricity networks develop in a way which enables net zero at lowest cost to consumers.

Since joining Ofgem in 2011 to work on wholesale market monitoring, Andrew has worked across key aspects of energy regulation, working on security of supply, wholesale and retail issues.  Prior to joining Ofgem, Andrew worked in financial services, after starting his career at HM Treasury.
